Africa 05
Africa 2005 was a collaboration between major arts organisations and smaller, commercial, not-for-profit and community based groups in the celebration of contemporary African art. The programme of activities was diverse, ranging from artists in residence, to major presentations of contemporary work and new installations. All events were bound together by an umbrella campaign titled Africa 05.
During the 2005 season, Nana Ocran was engaged as a promotional project manager by General Assembly a cultural brand and marketing agency. This involved project managing an Experience Africa and African London guide,
which was produced with a media partner (Time Out London) and a commercial sponsor (Starbucks Coffee).
